Is your yoga journey leading you into a space of curiosity? Are you curious about how to integrate your experience on and off the mat?  Looking to deepen your practice and understanding of yoga?  Teacher Training is for anyone interested in teaching yoga or wants to learn more about the practice of yoga. Body Mind & Core's Teacher Training program will provide you with a powerful foundation to be a successful and well-rounded yoga teacher and practitioner. This training will prepare you to confidently lead and practice empowering dynamic vinyasa flows, sequencing with sensitivity, creativity and inspiration, applying technical knowledge and experience, to facilitate an inner unfolding. Body Mind & Core's Teacher Training is a collaboration of the some of the most knowledgable and experienced senior teachers from around the U.S., with backgrounds in anatomy, Ashtanga, Anusara, and Prana Flow Master Trainings, pilates and flendenkrais. 

Body Mind & Core FREE Advantage

To help you deepen your practice we offer unlimited free yoga classes in select classes during your 200 Hour BMC Teacher Training. This provides a great way to deepen your own practice while at the same time refining the skills you are learning in your training.

Primary Focus

Holding space for you as you courageously choose to open the door to your heart with awareness, commitment, and compassion. Students will learn to teach Vinyasa Yoga, Yin, Restorative and Prenatal Yoga

Points of Study

  • Yoga philosophy, history and background
  • Anatomy and how to apply to yoga asana practice
  • Energy anatomy pertaining to Chakras, Nadis and Bandhas             
  • Asana and proper alignment
  • The art of sequencing 
  • The art of assisting
  • Introduction to Meditation, Mantra, Mudras and Chanting
  • Introduction to Kriyas and Pranayama
  • Ayurveda
  • Yoga and the power of music
  • The business of yoga
  • The role and qualities of a teacher


  • One year minimum of regular yoga practice.
  • A flexible body free of injuries is NOT a requirement for this training.  In fact we encourage people with all body types and those physical challenges to consider this program.  The struggles and challenges you will face through the course of this training will only make you a better teacher and student.


This teacher training qualifies for The Yoga Alliance 200 Hour Certification. Upon completion of the program, students will be qualified to receive a Registered Yoga Teacher Certification through the Yoga Alliance. 

Fall Schedule (8 month program)

Training will be held once a week for over the course of (34) weeks.  Students complete (180) contact hours on (averaging 3 classes per week) with senior teachers at Body Mind and Core throughout the (8) months of teacher training.

"After more than 20 years of teaching, 15 of which have been spent teaching Pilates, yoga, dance, meditation and other movement modalities to a complex variety of folks, I am proud to be a teacher of teachers.
